It is awarded for completely upgrading any upgradable weapon. Once I had the item in hand it was back to running back through the whole facility again, all the way back to the terminal. 'Gun Nut' is an achievement/trophy in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. He had an item I needed, and because I already methodically neutralized every enemy, I was running back through a ghost town, stepping over bodies along the way. It started when I was forced to backtrack through the facility to a ship's quartermaster. It's not until the last hour of the adventure that the DLC's overall sense of mystery disappears and the steady pacing turns into a crawl. In addition, guard placement never seems to be a hindrance when entering an area (no cheap deaths), and there are more than enough items to loot from lockers that give ample tools to complete the various objectives. Like Human Revolution, the overall design of the levels provides many ways to approach each objective. The overall aesthetic of moving through a large cargo ship - sneaking through tight corridors and air vents - makes for a great set piece and remains fairly consistent throughout most of this adventure. No weapons/augmentations makes for fun stealth play. It all ended too soon when I located Jensen's supplies, and it was back to business as usual. There are three types of weapon modifications: General, Restricted, and Unique. Moving through the ship and remaining undetected without using cloaking devices (or any powers for that matter) is a great change-up to throw into Human Revolution's gameplay. Weapon Mods can upgrade different weapons. It's a great change of pace from most of Human Revolution and I wish it lasted longer than the opening 15 minutes. The Battle Rifle 'Ask me, I think we should fragem all. After being brutally interrogated and left alone, a mysterious character intercedes to set him free, leaving Jensen to move about the Hei Zhen Zhu cargo ship with only his frickin' hand swords. ![]() Because this is a standalone episode, you can play through this adventure in any capacity (combat or stealth) instead of porting over your current character. you can drop whatever you don't need, and it's more useful than selling to vendors, cuz there's no buyback feature if you sell something you didn't want to. i chose this place to stash my stuff during the game. once you disable the lasers, there is some rifle ammo and other stuff inside. ![]() The game starts off with Jensen completely stripped of all items and at a default set of Augmentations. the code is 2928 and the laser grid console inside is 6542. That being said, I'm going to spare you how the Augmentation system works, how to upgrade weapons, choosing a style to play, etc. It's not a requirement - it will appear in your game's main menu as a standalone episode - but you'd be fairly lost in the game's story (how did Adam Jensen get on a boat?), and at an extreme disadvantage in terms of how the game plays.
